Our Staff:
Julie Good, PT, DPT earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science in 2004 from the University of Texas at Arlington and received a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2008 from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. She has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Oregon Physical Therapy Association since 2005.
Julie completed a clinical affiliation with Advanced Orthopaedic Physical Therapy (AOPT) as part of her degree requirements and later joined the AOPT team following graduation. She is currently working to refine and expand her manual therapy skills through mentorship and continuing education.
Outside of work Julie enjoys outdoor activities with family and friends, such as tennis, hiking, camping and riding ATVs.
graduated from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan with a Bachelors Degree in Biomedical Health Sciences in 1999, and a Masters of Science and Physical Therapy in 2002, with a focus on manual therapy education based on the Scandinavian system of joint mobility, developed by Fred Kaltenborne, P.T., of Germany. Since moving to Portland in 2002, Kevin has continued to progress his skill level and education, applying manual/manipulative therapy techniques based on the workings of James Cyriax, M.D., Stanley Paris (USA), and Robin McKenzie, P.T. (New Zealand). Of special interest is the Mulligan Concept and Mobilization with Movement techniques, developed by Brian Mulligan, FNZSP (Hon), Dip MT of New Zealand. In December of 2007, Kevin became a Certified Mulligan Practitioner [CMP], becoming one of 120 CMPs in the entire United States. Areas of special interest also includes cervicogenic headaches/upper cervical dysfunction, dizziness, as well as chronic, complex injuries of the spine and extremities.
